This medium is preferred by clients that love high detailed portraits with a realistic touch. Yes it is a drawing, but it’s a drawing created from the delicate Derwent Fine Art coloured pencils with my unique realistic technique. The coloured pencil gives an impression of shine and life in a way no other medium can achieve.

This medium is far more delicate then graphite pencils and takes sometimes more hours to complete then oils. The colored pencils are my mid priced portraits but are almost as expensive as oils. With a colour palette of 120 different pencils drawn on heavy high quality paper it enables me to represent the subject I’m drawing with colours, lights and details with accuracy.

My coloured pencil drawings are created in many layers of different color hues to give the realistic impression they are famous for. Usually I use more then 15 different fined tuned colours to create one colour to the subject, which also gives the proper impression of depth and lights I require.
