Ferguson
Today I started up a new oil portrait! This is a little cute dog named Ferguson, a Yorkshire terrier who sadly passed recently. He will be painted in size 14″x12″ for a client in Belgium.
The portrait will be just the perfect memorial piece of him. The sketch, initial stage is painted with acrylics in order to speed up the drying time.

I will continue with the painting tomorrow, block in the entire canvas with oil paint. Hopefully I will be able to create two more stages. I took a few photos while panting at the easel, view the fist stage of Ferguson below.
