I continued to work on Klas the black labrador, throughout the day. He is almost completed at this moment, however the photos below were taken several hours before. On Monday I will scan this portrait and upload it here for you all to see. It is quite large and so I’m able to add allot of detail where I want them to be.
I will add just a touch of blue to his coat and a little bit of brown hues to his eyes. The highlights in white will stand out beautifully because of all the dark values both in his coat and the paper. The portrait is really starting to take shape and I already love it.
