I’m finally back from my vacation and we had such a great time in Slovenia! For the first time in many years, I actually felt sad about leaving. When we arrived to Slovenia after a 23 hour drive, we got the surprise of the year! The family secretly renovated our entire house! We just couldn’t believe it, what a 40th birthday surprise for my husband!
Today I finally started up on TigerLily’s oil painting and took a few photos of the initial sketch. The sketch is created with acrylics actually, mixed with allot of water. I love to use pencil and then acrylics for my sketch, next stage will be blocked in with oils though.
I wanted to start up with the oils today, however since I will paint the base soft and painterly I will have to do everything in one session. I simply need more time than I had left today. It will be so much fun, I’m really looking forward to it!
