Wangelisa’s Oil Painting Stage
This is the Arab horse oil portrait currently on my easel. I’ve prepared the entire painting for the final detail stage and this is also where I will paint the correct values (darks and lights).
It’s quite dark in the room and even though I have all lights on, the photographs just won’t get good enough. Looks like I will have to invest in some great daylight lamps (finally) as it’s so dark here in Sweden during winter times.
It’s a good thing I will scan the final painting once it’s done! This is the last work in progress blog post for this painting. I will scan it once it’s ready, however I still have much work left to do.
