Some time ago I painted a big watercolour painting with three dogs: two Airedale terriers and Schnauzer, their names are Jenny, Nisse and Ben. I just love the outcome of this portrait and their owner just loved it! Well, she was the first client who lived so near that she could come and get the painting at my home.

I have been painting the Jack Russel terrier Scout for a day and I just love it! The photo I got from my customer wasn’t all that good but I made a really nice mock-up along with an even better watercolour portrait. Soon I will offer bigger sizes of watercolour portraits; one commission of a big one is coming up so stay tuned! I totally forgot just how fun it is to paint with watercolours, but since I started with it, I realised that something was missing in my life

Well, past month I have been going to a short course about “How to open and run a company”. This course has been absolutely perfect! Getting to know all the nice people and teachers has been a very nice experience for me. Two of the consults has been really special to me though. Giving me so much to learn and think about, both in life and for my “one man company”. Ulla-Lisa Thorden and Peter Ploman are that kind of people who makes you think and get allot of inspiration and ideas. I’m extremely grateful for getting to know them. I learned allot on this course and will never forget these wonderful people! Sooo much inspiration!!! The timetable has been tight though, having so many commissions and the course at the same time. But now I’m back to work and I won’t have any free time at all until February.

Hi all of you out there. I still haven’t got the time to start painting, but I made two new web sites! One of them is very simple and fast loading, the other one is more graphical and “beautiful”.
I will be back!

Hi all of you out there!

I had a longer holiday then it was supposed to be. It was a relaxing one, 2000km from my home. Of course my dogs were along with me like always. My older dog Raider is used to travel a lot so he was calm on the way, but Blueberry was whining in the beginning. We didn’t understand why because he is usually more calm then Raider. But finally 300km from home I realised we forgot his box that he uses to sleep in. That’s why he was whining for 300km. Even if we go to a dog show or competition we always take the box. hm… I thought I could buy another box when we arrived to our destination but no luck at all. So he had to make it without a box for that month. First thing he did when we got back home was go to our bedroom to check if the box was still there. He is a too smart dog sometimes, makes life living hell
Well, we lived with goats and sheep, Raider loved them from the very beginning, but Blueberry saw them as pray. In a week he got used to them and didn’t even care about them any more. We called one of the goats “Jovanka”, LOL it’s a funny name! She was the big boss around all others.
I took some time to train my dogs as I usually lack time at home. It was a “real life” for Blueberry and even Raider loved it. We went to see IPO training at a club, LOL no “real dogs” to see. Working Malinois people knows what that means… I even think it’s a boring and stereotyped sport. Â
I took my time to create a Coloured Pencil Drawing and this is the outcome:
Now back to work…Hugh…

After one year of working with my Pet Portraits I will finally take my time for a vacation around Europe for a few weeks. I finished the last three Oil Portraits and they are ready to leave my home. Today I will pack two and send them tomorrow. It has been fun to create this much portraits for one year and I’m happy that my Portraits got this popular in just one year. I learned allot too, let’s say the new portraits can’t be compared to my latest ones
I’m truly happy with my self. My family and friends has been so supportive of my new goals but also the biggest critics of all. Thank you!Today I changed my first page to a nicer place; I feel it looks more open in a way. We also photographed one of my dogs next to the paintings I have at home for the moment with some older ones too. Even I’m on one of them…Sweden)
See ya all!
When I come home I have some web sites do again, it will be allot of fun creating them! Let’s see what commissions will come up for my Pet Portraits, some are also on the way.
Now take a look at my latest work:

In my work in progress blog everyone can follow their portrait from the a simple sketch to a completed Pet, Family Portrait or Print. See also my latest completed website designs, logos and illustrations. If someone ordered a portrait, they are able to ask questions and make suggestions as I'm painting it. This benefit is of great value to me and my clients because they are constantly updated and it gives them a peace of mind.
