So its finally online, the website template-design and logotype I created for Eubreeders.com some months ago. The final website along with the logo can be viewed at www.eubreeders.com. I let them use some of my paintings on the website in exchange for a “lifetime” advertising banner on the site. I know this website will get big and popular in future, so why not? The logotype is vector-based and the design is created with HTML, CSS and div tags, no tables.

Some days ago I completed the vector-based logotype design for Doggy Bow. The design below is what I finally came up with after some small color changes from the client. The diamond in the middle of the bow was a challenge, along with creating a simple long haired dog that came out cute ( some attempts failed before i showed it to the client ). She is very happy with this logotype and so am I. The client was actually one for the first who bought a portrait of her Maltese when I started to paint years ago, so it was really nice that she ordered a logotype from me this time. Her online store is mostly about Doggy Bows, so if you have a longhaired dog and want some really nice high quality bows, don’t hesitate to contact her. Her website is: www.doggybow.com.

This is my latest work (finished today) for a Pet shop here in Sweden, called “Bamses Bollar” which means Bamse’s balls . The illustration will be used for various things, including logotype and header of the website. It is made with help of a drawing board (tablet) in same style as the illustrations I created for a book were. The dogs are hand drawn with help of this drawing board and are not just painted over some photos. I used many photos as reference for this illustrations. The breeds included in this illustration are Leonberger and Chihuahua.

Illustration/logotype - Bamses Bollar

This is my recent pencil drawing of an X Malinois named Rex III. X Malinois means a malinois that is mixed with another breed, in this case German shepherd. It’s a small (size A4) full body drawing created for a logotype that is visible below. Marc contacted me because he loved the Bluestem Malinois logo I created a long time ago. Marc runs a company that consults Police canine training and he was very pleased with how we worked together on this project.

It has been a while since I wrote in my blog, but I really struggle with time and then the blog just doesn’t seem to be in my time schedule. It’s not always visible on my website, but I’m working on many new and old projects. I have only 4 out of 30 illustrations left to do, so that’s one of the things I have quietly been working on. I’m also working on two websites that have been left aside for a while and a whole new project that’s more for my future plans which I can’t really talk about now, but it will be revealed in time. Let’s not forget about the three Business cards (including my own) that took more of my time then planned.

Well, this is one of the things I have been working on, a vector based logotype and a very simple CSS based website for Computer Renovate which is a recently opened little company in Sweden. The site is not online yet, only picture is available at this time.

This is a new vector based logo I have created for kennel Livani in Germany (if they will get that name). Kalle searched for somebody who have drawn and painted many Tervuerens and finding me who also creates professional vector based logotypes is a big bonus of course

Kalle had a very complex idea about what would be included to the logo, but by leaving out some objects and changing some ideas made the logo look very easy to remember. Here it is:

This is a coloured pencil drawing. The dogs name is Gajo of breed Kleiner Münsterländer. Pretty rare breed I think. This drawing was created in size A4 for a logotype as you can see below. Now right to work again, I have three web sites to complete and an oil painting of the 1^st place winner from the Photo contest I had in 2007. After that I will be drawing a Belgian shepherd Groenendael.
 I have a big surprise for you all in a week or so…

 

This is my latest vector based logotype created for kennel Damjan`s Diamond, breeder of shorthaired and longhaired Chihuahuas. This is only the beginning of our work together, because he also ordered a website. Here is the logotype:

This is a new vector based logotype with text Fyglehunden. They also commissioned a coloured pencil drawing logotype for their kennel. I will start with that drawing next week.

VänerBrodyr is a small company in Sweden that needed a logotype. Her clients mostly has something to do with sailboats and animals so she wanted to include a very simple made sailboat in the logotype at the same time as I wanted to show clearly that the company is creating embroideries. It was very important to create a logo that looks good as embroidery. So here it is:
