Third Stage of Darla in Oil

January 3rd, 2014

I have been painting on Darla’s oil portrait today. You can view the third stage and a close-up of me painting on fourth stage below. Stage four is completed too, but I must wait for the panting to dry in order to take some photos. As you can see on third stage below, the painting is very wet and picking up reflections from my lamps. because of that, all colors are wrong and everything looks a bit flat. I’m using a very limited palette and the painting looks very beautiful in my Studio, so let’s hope it will dry soon enough for you all to view here in my blog as well.
