Next Stage of Buster in Oil

Sunday, December 15th, 2013

This is the next stage of Buster in Oil and now I only have the final layer left to do. Tomorrow I will paint from early morning to late evening! I have also already created the first two stages of Darla in oil and as soon as I have uploaded the final scan of Buster, I will upload first stages of Darla here in my blog as well. I have a secret large pencil drawing to create for Christmas as well, and I didn’t even start on that one yet. So right now I work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. The little time-off I have, I spend with my border collie puppy, the rest of my family will have to wait until I complete and send all portraits.

Framed Dog Portrait in Pencil

Friday, December 13th, 2013

Yes, I’m working day and night in order to complete all portraits in time. Here is a completed framed dog portrait in pencil though, the drawing of Kodi. I chose a simple framing for this one, only a white monunt/matt with a light black mounding. The mounding also has cute dots and just the right hues to suit the portrait perfectly, I hope you like it. Now back to work!

Next Stage of Dog Painting

Sunday, December 8th, 2013

This is stage four of Buster in oil and there are several more stages to come. I don’t have time to write much at this moment, so lets write more about this painting once its completed. The painting has been drying today and will dry for one more day before I can continue. I have one painting to oil-out, one drawing to get framed and one more drawing to complete tomorrow.
