Next Stage of The King Painting

Tuesday, June 26th, 2012

So here is third stage of the King in oil. I have been working on every part of the canvas since the last update in this blog and I love how it’s taking shape. I still have allot of work left to do though and I will continue with the chair and other golden parts tomorrow, I have really been looking forward to it.

Second Stage of The King

So I have painted another stage of the King. I have mainly been painting on the background, his clothes and the chair, but also did some work on his eyes and glasses. This painting is now at a drying stage and I will continue with it next week. Hopefully I will complete this portrait soon because I can’t wait to see the final result myself.

Oil Painting of Horses & Cameraman

Monday, June 11th, 2012

In Friday I completed the painting of Horses and Cameraman and let it dry over the weekend. Today in the morning I started to scan it and that was quite a big job to do with 21 pieces to puzzle in Photoshop. Well, after I managed to complete the puzzle, I moved on to color and light adjustments. Finally at 14:00 today I completed the final scan and here it is.

I’m very happy with this painting because I created the color harmony I wanted to achieve, it is looking so stunning here in the Studio. I will take this painting to the framers tomorrow and hopefully it will be ready in Friday.
