A few days ago the print arrived. It’s a copy of the portrait of Bogart in pencil which I drew some time ago. You can view two of the photos I took of the original mounted drawing and the print next to it.

So I have blocked in first layer of the background and worked quite a lot on the cameraman. Next stage will be to paint the next layer of the horses in the foreground. That will take some time to do since it’s a large painting, but I will do my best to complete stage four next week. This photo is not a good representation of the actual colors of the painting, the lighting conditions here in the studio are not the best at the moment.
