Pet portraits in progress – Montage pencil drawing

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

For some days I have been working on a new website (yet to be completed) and the montage Malinois pencil drawing. I completed the middle portrait and the muzzle one on the side. The first drawing I drew was the decoy along with the Malinois jumping to bite. All the drawings are pretty small, so I have to rule out some detail. It only makes sense, otherwise the final result wouldn’t look good enough. Anyway, I hope Marc is happy with the three first drawings.

Now I will go ahead to draw the final picture of the composition…

Step two of Montage Malinois drawing

Friday, August 21st, 2009

Yesterday I drew the first and smallest picture in the montage drawing and its fully completed. Its a very small drawing, cca. 18x13cm. I will now move on to the aggression head study in the middle and complete it. I’m actually looking forward to that one.

Today I will move on with working on a new website. I have allot of work ahead of me so bye until next montage pencil drawing update. REMOVED

Pets portraits and Holidays

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Hello!

Im finally back from Holidays. We had a nice time, but I have to admit that I was a bit frustrated without working anything for four weeks. I had my new Imac with me to check my emails and we used the computer to watch movies :) . At first it was quite fun to look and listen to she sheep and goats all days long, but after I while I didn’t think it was fun that they woke me up each morning… They were very beautiful, but to muddy for my taste, hehe.

My older dog Raider the Tervueren, loved to watch the sheep when they were running down the hill, but my Malinois didn’t even pay attention to them. As a matter of fact, he didn’t care at all! Its like they didn’t exist to him. I don`t understand why, maybe they were to slow for him to pay attention. He waited for the cats to come around though, I know he would rip the cats apart which wouldn’t be nice, so we had to watch after the cats once in a while. It was very hot all the time and I got a tan even though I didn’t walk or sit in the sun.

Well well, now its time to work again. I stated with sketching up the Malinois montage for a client in the US. He is a returning customer which is always nice. Here is the sketch:
