And here is step two…

Yesterday I started with the oil painting of Gully and Jixxy, the two Nova Scotia duck tolling retrievers. I also started with another dog portrait in oils of a Samoyed x German Shepherd mix named Asta but I don’t have any space left on my work in progress pages so I will start to post the steps later (when the oil painting of Butu is finished). Today I was working with Butu but it needs some more work before I can post step 4.

I also need to start working with an impressionistic oil portrait of a little doggy, I will surely have to start working harder (if that is possible) to fid time finish all this portraits. It’s good that none of these portraits has deadlines, pheeww. It’s funny that someone actually wanted to have an oil painting, painted in an impressionistic way since I don’t offer that on my pages any more. She specifically asked if I could create a painting like that for her. Its really fun to paint that way so I’m looking forward to it.
