My fist commissioned painting of a parrot ever! It was interesting to create something different for once. I have to admit that it took me a while to understand how to get it right and I was even irritated for some time. Well but the challenge turned out good and both me and the client are happy with the outcome at last. Wilma died only 3 years old and Tess wanted to have a worthy memorial of her. She used the insurance money to commission this oil painting of Wilma. So here is the painting: REMOVED

I have been very busy for some time now, but not only with creating portraits. There is allot more to be done here in my studio and I’m sometimes frustrated that it all takes too long. I don’t like to keep clients waiting, but sometimes I just don’t have a choice. Wilma will be shining on my wall for a few days before I send her to the owner, maybe it will help me keep a happy face even though I will have to work for many hours. The spring is on the way to Gothenburg and I have been thinking of buying an easel for outside use to paint the environment around me right on the spot. Probably I will get some more inspiration for my Studio portraits that way and it will make me get out more. That will also help me grow as an artist and give me a place to express my feelings.
