My latest watercolor is a combination portrait of horse Rock Star. Rock Star is a special little boy and he is 1 year old. He is a very small horse of breed Miniature horse colt. It is the first time I painted such a horse. Well, the reference photos were very small, but it turned out good anyway. The owner loved it and that makes me happy. This is a small watercolor in size 21 x 29cm.

The watercolors are a medium that can be painted loose or detailed and it still looks nice. I prefer to paint backgrounds loose and the actual portrait detailed. So if someone doesn’t have good photos it’s usually the medium I’m offering to them. But some just love watercolors and they commission a watercolor portrait right away. This is a new vector based logotype with text Fyglehunden. They also commissioned a colored pencil drawing logotype for their kennel. I will start with that drawing next week. So here is the logo, it is simple like she wanted: REMOVED

This is my latest horse portrait in oils, size 54 x 65cm with no detailed background. The horse is a mare, named Salvia. She was a Shagya-arab, unfortunately she died way faster then she was supposed to and her owner Petra wanted to have a special memorial of her. The latest drawing I created in size A3 of Malinois Thor. This is the second commission from the same family. The first time Mario contacted me to draw his other, older Belgian Malinois “Zoran” (two years ago) and he was delighted with it. This time his wife contacted me to draw their other malinois “Thor” as a birthday gift for Mario. I’m sure he will be very happy to receive this portrait. It is so nice to get commissions from someone who knows exactly how to do it right. She sent three high quality photos, along with a description of Thor, telling exactly what size and medium she wants to commission. I made the mock-up and sent it, everything went exactly like it should and not many emails had to be sent back and forward. Wish it would always be like that. REMOVED
