I created a new dog portrait of Duc in Colored Pencils. Duc is a well known Tervueren, very beautiful and winning in shows all over. This portrait is in size A4 (pretty small) and I still managed to add some detail. For show people it’s very important the dog looks exactly like he does in real life and I managed to capture him to 100%. REMOVED

I bought a new palette of 120 Colored Pencils, Derwents and it made it much easier to draw in layers with the right colors. Before that I drew with a palette of 36 and that wasn’t enough. Beside the pet portraits I will now illustrate a book for children, which will take a lot of time and effort. The book is about pets so it suits me perfectly.

The portrait of Pipi is here! She looks so nice and has such a sad look in her eyes. This was the last photograph taken of her before she had to be put down to a for ever sleep. Pipi had cancer… So here is the portrait… REMOVED
