For the first time I will hold a photographic contest for all pet lovers! The theme is "my best friend”. Everyone who owns a pet has the right to send two favourite photographs to enter the competition.
OBSERVE: Only photos taken by your self are permitted to be sent to this competition!
The photo contest is absolutely free to attend and will be evaluated by me and visitors of Pet-Art.net. Both non-professionals and professionals have right to enter, because the rules are simple: Pet owners can enter.
The photography is meant to capture a moment and tell a special story; in this case it’s about us and our pets. The photo creates feelings and tells story’s of our lives. Not every photo is a good photo and not every moment is easy to capture.
What can I win?
1. The 1st place winner gets a custom painted Oil painting from the winning photo entered in size 38 x 46cm.
2. The 2nd place winner gets a custom drawn Pencil drawing from the winning photo entered in size A3.
When is the last entry date?
The last entry date is: 2007-10-01, entries after this date will not be included to this contest.
How will my photograph be judged?
Your photo will be judged based on originality, sharpness, lightening, artistic presentation and composition. Send the highest quality possible because this will effect the judging. I do not accept watermarked photographs. Your photos will be displayed on this web site with my added watermark for no one to take your photo as their own.
NOTE: I have the right to remove entries to this competition if I think it’s outside the contest rules.
When will the online Gallery open?
All photos will be online 2007-10-03
When will the results be announced?
The results will be announced 2007-11-02 and uploaded to this web site.
