Hello!
We just arrived home after the birthday celebrating and I can say that she was veeery happy with the result! She looked at it many time during the dinner and asked like all of us. How does she do it! (that is to say you). Completely fantastic Katja, you get the dog to crawl out of the picture, to look alive.
The eyes are bright and shiny; the nose has a touch of light. The hair and whirls are where they are supposed to be. The drawing is so detailed. You have even included a little drool drop :)) Just_so_fantastic! And yes, the drawing arrived today but I think you understood that in the beginning right :) THANK YOU so very much and we don’t say good bye, but be seeing you!
Greetings
Jennie Strange

I will try to tell little about Shona which this Rhodesian ridgeback bitch is called. She is an almost 7 years old female, born in Spain. Originates from full African lines and when I fist met her, for almost 3 years ago, when I was searching for a puppy and Shona would mate, I fell very much in love. She has it; she has something that not many other dogs have. Often you can pass by other dogs and it’s only a “dog”, but when you meet Shona you really notice her. She has lovely eyes that show how she “understands” when you speak to her.
A super social girl that loooves people and she gladly give kisses right on your mouth. Loves to cuddle, lie on the bed under a blanket and just be, but she can be very cool at the same time. Doesn’t roar at once, and doesn’t need to do much when she wants to say its enough, she is very clear in her body language, so it’s enough to raise the lip little and the other dogs yield away. She is not a thin girl, she is very muscular, (the African lines are built that way) hardly any fat under the skin, wide brisket and real chicken legs...a lovely butt and like I said, muscles to 1000! Shona is the only dog in Sweden with bloodlines that she has (apart from her puppies now :)) She has a lovely red color, a wonderful posture and like I said before, this is a dog who knows what she wants (like her owner) She is very competitive, she “hunts” the dog in front in the show ring, shows her best self and moves divine ... flows/flies forward! It’s not for nothing she is Champion in 11 different countries!
She has had two litters, the first one in 2006 (when I bought one of the puppies) and she go the second littler now in December, (it will probably not be any more puppies so it’s little why me and my husband wants to immortalize her in a lovely drawing from you for her owner, now when she turns 40 years) with three lovely dark little ravines! Is also a wildlife tracking Champion. |
