Q I’m ready to order my custom portrait, how do I start?
A Follow my portrait guide which will give you some ideas about which medium to choose, how I work and what kind of photographs I need from you. The guide will lead you directly to the order enquiry form where you can make the enquiry and send your best photos. It can’t get simpler and I will surely answer within 24 hours. |

Q In what mediums (techniques) do you work?
A I’m currently painting and drawing with oils, pencils, colored pencils and watercolors. |

Q What is the difference between the mediums you use?
A Please read the portrait guide about that. I have explained about each medium separately there. |

Q Does your custom portraits include any digital medium?
A No, all of my custom pet portraits and family portraits are traditionally hand painted or drawn. There are no tricks involved. |

Q Do you ever portray from real life?
A No, all my portraits are created with photos as reference. I wouldn’t have time to travel around to portray from life. |

Q How do I send you my photos and in what size?
A You can send them through my enquiry form, e-mail or snail mail. If you send regular paper photos, contact me and I will let you know the address. If you send them digitally, send the biggest size possible, downloaded from your digital camera in original size. Don’t resize the photos before you send them to me. |

Q How many photos do you need?
A I create a portrait from only one photograph, but I can look at other photos for colors and other features as reference. Send several photos if you aren’t sure which photo to use. |

Q I would like several subjects on one painting, do I need a photo with all of them together?
A No, you can send each photo separately. I will create a photo montage with all of them together for you to approve before I start to paint. |

Q My photo doesn’t have a nice background but I would like one, can you paint one anyway?
A Yes, I can paint a nice background scenery for you. Just let me know what you would like and I will create a photo mock-up along with your subject including a nice background. |

Q Will my portrait be framed?
A The portrait prices does not include frames but you can order a frame through me or take the portrait to a professional framer to get it framed. Read more about framing here > |

Q How much does a portrait cost?
A That all depends on which medium you choose, size of the portrait and if you would like several subjects on one painting or drawing. See the prices with additional choices on my pricelist. |

Q When will I pay for my portrait?
A 50% of payment is done before I start to paint and the rest of payment is done when the portrait is completed and approved by you, before it’s shipped. |

Q How do I pay?
A I will send a money payment request to your email. Payments are usually done through Paypal which is 100% secure with your credit card. However if you would like to pay directly to my bank account here in Sweden, do let me know and will arrange that. I don’t accept checks. |

Q How long will it take before I receive my portrait?
A It depends on how much work I have at the time I receive your order. It takes at least 14 days to complete a portrait and 1 week to send it. Drop an email and I will let you know my timetable at that time. |

Q Will I see the finished portrait before I receive it?
A Of course you will. You will be able to follow each step in the process and see the final scan before the portrait is shipped to you. The portrait must be approved before it’s sent. |

Q How much does Postage and Packing cost?
A The expenses are counted into my prices, you won’t have additional costs with postage or packing. |

Q If I’m in a hurry to get a portrait, what can I do?

Q Do you give the money back if I’m not happy with the portrait?
A Yes, I do. |

Q Can I use my portrait for my business purposes?
A I retain the reproduction rights on all of my original artwork. If you would like to commission my work for business, contact me and we will discuss your options. |
