Previ is probably one of the smartest dogs I have ever seen, you can see it all in her eyes when she looks at you. She may also seem a bit arrogant, but that’s just how dachshunds are – a big dog in a small package. She is the mighty leader of our dogs (she recognizes me as the big boss, although she sometimes likes to test the boundaries), when she is in a bad mood Largo prefers to stay away and Brandy finds it extremely funny (from a safe distance of course). But most of the time she is very affectionate and playful. She is always eager to do something with you; her biggest favourites are long walks and endless hours of fetching the ball.

Largo’s puppyhood could have been better and that has made him very addicted to people. He loves to spend time with you and when you go out to play with him his focus is 100% on you. His temperament can be described as a bit nervous but very friendly towards people.

Brandy still behaves like a puppy and she constantly has a puppylike expression on her face (when she isn’t having her “they haven’t fed me for two years!” or “the whole world hates me” face on). She is also the local peacemaker. When there is a fight between dogs or people she tries to go between and solve the fight by licking and wagging her whole body (instead just the tail). Also she is very easily trainable and learns a new trick very fast. When we go to an event and meet other dogs and people she is a bit hyperactive in the beginning but calms down very easily and observes the world with peace in her eyes and then goes and does something hilariously funny of extremely stupid.
