Q: Do you work from photographs?
A: I specialize in highly detailed portraits and therefore I always work from high resolution photographs.
That`s why it`s very important for you to send a good photo. Make sure that the photos you send are a perfect reflection of your animal. If the photo isn’t sharp enough, or the colors arent exacly the same, the portrait never can be good enough.
Q: How many photo`s do I need to send?
A: I need only one good photo.
Of course some more good close up pictures will show me extra details and the portrait will be even better.
Q: What do you mean with quality photos?
A: If possible, please send me at least two quality photos of your pet.

Q: Will you return the photos?
A: Of course I’ll send all photos back to you together with the Drawing or Painting.
Q: If I have several dogs, should I send a photo with all of them together?
A: This isn’t necessary. It is even better to send one good photograph of each dog for the details and one with all of them together so I can see the individual size differences.
Q: How can I send the photos?
A: Just email the photos or send them by ordinary mail. You can also send electronic pictures on CD.
Q: How long does it take before I receive my Portrait?
A: It depends on how much work I have at that moment and of the type of artwork you want.
For Oils it can take 2-4 weeks. Remember, it takes a few days for the oil portrait to dry.
Q: How and when do I pay?
A: I use PayPal shopping cart facilities. PayPal guarantees 100% security for credit transactions.

A: You have the choice between Pencil Drawing, Watercolors, Coloured Pencil Drawing or Oil on Canvas.
Q: Can I have all my animals together on one Painting or Drawing?
A: Yes of course you can! You can choose a single or multiple subjects drawing/Painting with or without backgrounds.
Q: How do you work?
A: First of all I "fix" the photos in Photoshop, mock-up and cut away the backgrounds you don`t want on the portrait.
If there are several animals I position them just as you like.
I also add matching colours to the background or add you favourite background photo.
Then step 1 is finished and I start painting.
