Cat Gordon Pencil Portrait

I used 4 different photographs of other cats to create this Drawing since I could not see any detail in the original photo. This was an awsome challange! This is what Hollie wrote about Gordon:

Gordon was a very old cat when she died (20yrs), and the photo was taken when she (funny name for a girl!) was about 18yrs. She always looked a bit frowny, and quite owl like in her appearance. She was a real lap cat - she'd sit there there owl like watching your lap, (bobbing her head backwards and forwards)  waiting for a emply space empy space on your lap. When she saw one she'd stick her claws in your leg and drag herself up. And if you moved her off, as soon as she saw the slighest gap, she would be there like a shot. She was a very trusting & loving cat, and you could quite easily pick her up and she would instantly mould and cuddly round you. In fact Fred was able to hold her like a baby and she would lie there purring with her paw out almost cuddling him. Always purring (extremely loudly), as were her meow's which she would scream out with such force her head would shake. (expecially if she wanted food).  She just really liked having company would just be very contented to sit there and watch you making dinner or reading the paper. or sunning herself in the garden and would sleep out of there all summer.

I am so happy with it. It looks exactly like her.
It  brought a tear to my eye.
Can’t wait to give it to Fred. I’ll let you know what his reaction is.

Thank you so much again.

I may get you to do another one of our Bulldog George.
