Pet Portrait Information

This is an oil portrait painting of two cute kittens. Their names are Sirri and Rashi and they are painted when very young, just a few months old. The portrait was painted in year 2010 on a 40 x 30 cm sized linen canvas. This background is soft and simple to make the kittens the most important part of the oil painting. The client wanted the personalities to be visible in their body language, so two suitable photos were chosen; the proud and curious. They are just so cute, well kittens all are... especially these two. The client also decided to have the portrait framed by my local framer, see the photos of the framed painting below.
