On this page you can view some of my framed portraits with gold mouldings. There are different types of gold mouldings to choose from obviously. Many gold mouldings often have other warm colors included, such as brown or red hues. The framed oil painting of Pitbull below has under-painted red and black colors. Some mouldings are gold colored only, some with dark gold hues, other with lighter and cooler hues.
What type of gold frame is suitable for your portrait, depends on the overall feel of the painting. All mouldings are in the high quality I require, but some of them are even colored by hand. This doesn't mean they are more expensive. I love what a gold moulding does to a painting with warm colors. It's a feeling of warmth and luxury.
