Hi Katja!
Thank you for the portrait of Salvia. You really succeeded to capture her personality and her expressive eyes. When we opened the package and saw the painting, it felt like she was with us again.
The portrait of Salvia really is the memory I always wished to have of my best friend.

The oil painting of white Shagya-arab mare "Salvia is in size 54 x 65cm. This is what the owner wrote about her: Salvia was our first horse and came to us at age of six. She was always positive and kind but had a big integrity. Salvia thought most things were fun either it concerned jumping over small obstacles, outside riding on rocky paths or western riding. With my mother Salvia competed in long distance riding up to 120 km, always positive and enterprising.
Under several years Salvia and I competed in most western areas with many placements and Swedish championship medals in youth classes.
In the calmer areas pleasure and trail she chewed frenetically on the bite and restrained her self while she really was in her element in the speedy field like barrel race she loved so much. Salvia became 20 years old and left a big empty space after her. Salvia was my sun and she wasn’t supposed to go out yet. She was my best friend. |
