Oil Painting on Canvas for Ann Åsberg, Sweden of a white Pumi called "Amie", Perro de Aqua Espanol "Bella" and Black Pumi "Mali". I had a big mission with this Painting. Amie is already dead and the owner didn’t have any good photos of her. So I had to scan one old photo to have at least something to work from. My mission was to paint her fur just like Mali’s but white and much fluffier then on the Photo of hers. I had to paint the two other dogs without snow. It’s never easy to find out how fur looks like if you can’t see it. Curly dogs sure are a challenge in general!
