Dog Portrait Oil Painting on Canvas of Doberman Pipi. She has a sad look in her eyes as she was a very sick dog, this is the perfect memorial for her owner.

This one of my latest Portraits in Oils. The Painting was commissioned from Estonia. This is a few lines how she described Pipi:

I took Pipi from animal center, cause I was to "lazy" to work 14-16 hour in day. It was very irrational decision, but I never regret it. Pipi was about 5 years old when I got her. She was taken from animal center earlier, but given back few days later. :( First thing I had to do when I took her home, was to clean her nails. Her nails were coloured blue (by previous owners). Amazing what people do with dogs. :S Anyway... Pipi was calm and friendly, at least most of the time. She was bit unconfident and that's why she sometimes make herself "big and scary". We worked with that problem, but she's never been cured fully. She loved to run and dig out mouse holes. She slept in my bed (uups :)) and she always had to have blanket above her. She woke me up in the middle of the night when blanket sliped away. :D Those 3 years that we had together, were the best for me and I hope for her. Thanx to her I have now Jerk and lots of friends, cause she brought me into dogworld.
