How I send the paper based Portraits
When you order a Portrait in Pencils, Colored pencils or Watercolors I always send the Portrait Frame Ready with a white High Quality fade resistant conservation glade Mount / Matt made by Bainbridge which protects the Portrait perfectly. It looks much more beautiful when the Portrait arrives Mounted and that's also one of the reasons you recieve the portrait Frame Ready.
Mount / Matt
The Bainbridge standard white board which I use is cut beveled edge with a perfectly cut 90 degree angle internal opening and streight cut arount the mount / matt external edges. The portrait also has a streight cut backing board with the same Mount to protect the paper.

For an extra charge you can also order Mounts / Matts with other colors, several layers of different colors and extra gold/silver inner edges. Contact me to find out more.
Packaging
If you decided to get the Portrait Framed your self it is now ready to be sent. When the portrait is matted I cover it with thick and soft plastic which helps to protect the entire Mounted Portrait against any damage. Read about all the steps I take when packaging the portraits here > |
