This is a pastel portrait of Doberman Harley. Her owner says she is not a dog, but a princess. She also described Harley as very loving and that she likes to sit on your lap. Harley absolutely love the beach, it is her number one favorite place. This is why the client wanted to have a portrait done of her when she is on the
beach. The pastel painting is a small one, only 30 x 25 cm in size and it's painted on UART 600 grade sanded paper.
The pet portrait was created year 2011, commissioned to be a Christmas gift. Because this is a pet portrait in pastel, the client decided to have it framed by my local framer.

The portrait of Harley is just beautiful. I am so happy how it has turned out. It reminds me of how she looked last weekend at the beach!! So excited just waiting for us to throw her ball in the waves.
